Since 2002, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) has been helping troubled teens, including teens with ADD/ADHD become successful against the challenges that they face in their personal and academic lives. The campus is 150 acres of natural beauty. The school is a place where, away from distractions and worldly temptations, self-healing can effectively run its course.

Turning Winds specializes in three distinct areas to help a child: behavior modification, emotional/mental stability, and scholastic achievement. Therapy is an integral component in a Turning Winds’ program; it combines known clinical treatment methods with a variety of time-proven humanistic and cognitive behavioral approaches which helps teenagers develop their own coping mechanisms and strengthen their mental and emotional resilience against their weaknesses.
